Mike Bailey

Mike Bailey 62 of Amarillo died Monday, July 30, 2012 at his home. Memorial Services will be at 3:00 PM Friday at Rector Funeral Home Osage Chapel with pastor, Jackie ""Buzz"" Busby of the Cowboy Church and Arena of Life officiating. Arrangements are by Rector Funeral Home Osage Chapel, 2800 S. Osage St. Mike was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and friend. He worked as an auto-body technician for 45 years and was considered an expert in his field. Mike loved kids and served as a wrestling and baseball coach for many years. He loved helping kids reach their full potential. Mike loved spending time with his daughters, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was a true friend to all who knew him and will be greatly missed. On December 16, 1967, Mike married the love of his life, Vicki Gail Williams. They spent 44 years together. He is survived by his loving wife, Vicki; 2 daughters, Jana Lowry and Cathy Gillespie both of Amarillo; his parents, Bob and Lena Bailey of Amarillo; 2 brothers, Mark Bailey and Chuck Bailey both of Amarillo; 5 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
