Mona Jean Ridgaway Durnil Tordale 35 of Amarillo died Wednesday January 23, 2008 at Amarillo. Memorial services will be at 10:00 AM Monday at Rector Funeral Home Osage Chapel with Sheldon DeVries, associate pastor, Amarillo South Church officiating. Arrangements are by Rector Funeral Home Osage Chapel 2800 S. Osage St. Mona was born in Roswell, NM. She grew up in Amarillo and San Diego, California. She graduated from Poway High School in Poway, California and attended Grossmont College. She returned to Amarillo in 2001. Mona loved to cook and was very fond of children. Survivors include: 2 daughters, Brittany Durnil of San Diego and Hannah Ridgaway of Amarillo; 2 sons, Thomas Durnil of San Diego and Dakota Tordale of Helena, Montana; her mother Mona D. Murphy Ridgaway of Amarillo; her father, Eugene S. Ridgaway of Datil, NM; 3 sisters, Deena ""DeeDee"" Gordon and her husband David, Beverly A. Ridgaway and Sharri L. Miller and her husband Ray all of Amarillo; 1 brother, Thomas Ridgaway and his wife Toni of San Marcos, CA and 10 nieces and nephews.
