Nancy G. Marquez 83, of Amarillo died Saturday, January 25, 2014 in Amarillo. Memorial services will be Wednesday, January 29, 2014 at 2:00 PM at Rector Funeral Home Osage Chapel with Rev. Alvino Alvarez officiating. Arrangements are by Rector Funeral Home Osage Chapel, 2800 S. Osage St. Mrs. Marquez was born in Sylvia, Kansas. She was a great woman of faith and passed that quality to her eleven children. She was a loving and giving person. She took in many family members and friends to a home that was already full. To Mrs. Marquez, there was always room for one more. She was lovingly referred to as Momma, Granny, Grandmother and Aunt Nancy. She was preceded in death by her parents, Blas and Ramona Garcia, 3 brothers, Gene Garcia, Jesse Garcia and Augustine Garcia, 3 sisters, Eva Perea, Connie Cruz and Lupe, Garcia, one son, Michael Craine and a grandson, Salomon Craine. She is survived by her children, Richard Craine and his wife Lisa, Anita Rodriguez and her husband Enrique, Ramona Salazar and her husband John, Anthony Craine and his wife Camilla, Randall Craine and his wife Josie, Jonathan Craine, Lisa Martinez and her husband Larry, Maria Stephens, Frances Arzaga, Mario Marquez and his wife Darla, 24 grandchildren, 48 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
