Nancy Elizabeth O'Neall

Nancy Elizabeth ""Libby"" O'Neall 90 of Amarillo went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday April 23, 2010 in Amarillo. Services will be at 10:00 AM Tuesday at Second Baptist Church with Wayne Griffin, pastor officiating. Graveside services will be at 2:30 PM Tuesday at Resthaven Cemetery in Lubbock. Arrangements are by Rector Funeral Home Osage Chapel 2800 S. Osage St. Libby was born in Wayside. She graduated from Lubbock High School. Libby was a very outgoing person. She loved being around other people and helping them in any way she could. She worked as the Public Relations Liaison at the old West Texas Hospital in Lubbock for many years. She started her career there in 1945. She retired in the early 1980's and moved to Amarillo. While in Amarillo, she volunteered at Crown of Texas Hospice and was an active member of Second Baptist Church. Libby never met a stranger and never had an enemy. Libby is survived by one brother, Elbert O'Neall of Amarillo; nieces and nephews, Pat and Linda O'Neall of Amarillo, Lewis Chamberlain and Mona Givens both of Marietta, GA and Shirley O'Neall of Pensacola, FL; and great nieces and nephews, Megan O'Neall of Amarillo and J.D. O'Neall and Jake O'Neall both of Pensacola, FL. The family suggests memorial donation be to Second Baptist Church or Odyssey Hospice.
