Nathan Eugene Vanover, 77, of Amarillo passed away on December 25, 2022. No services are scheduled at this time. Nathan was born April 6, 1945 in Park Lake, Kentucky to John David and Nettie Lee (Price) Vanover. He relocated to Harriman, Tennessee with his parents where he attended school. He worked as an electrical apprentice for Buck Electric and Bill Devaney Electric. He was a widower with four children. He lived a full life and was happy. He loved his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Nathan is preceded in death by his parents, son Nathan Vanover Jr, brothers James, Paul, Jerry, Loyd, and David; and sisters Christine, Oma Jean, Mary Frances, Pauline, and Charl Dean. Those left to cherish his memories are his daughter Pamela Darwin and husband Charles of Amarillo, daughter Teresa Plemons of Harriman, TN, son Derrick Vanover of Anniston, AL, sister Jody Vanover of Kingston, TN; 6 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great grandchildren.
