Nelta Vancamp

Nelta VanCamp, 82, of Amarillo died Friday, Aug. 2, 2013. Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Monday in Llano Cemetery East Field of Valor with Steve Schwenke, pastor of Liberty Baptist Church, officiating. Arrangements are by Rector Funeral Home, 2800 S. Osage St. Nelta was born July 12, 1931, in Honey Grove to Earl and Lena Holder. She left the pain of this life on Aug. 2, 2013, at 5:34 p.m. for the great garage sale in the sky. She was raised in Paris and moved to Amarillo several years ago. She was an extraordinary mother and loved taking care of her family. Survivors include two sons, Floyd Lane Jr. of Amarillo and Bob Lane of Guyton, Ga.; and four daughters, Kathy Gafford of Bushland, Rhonda Redden of Swansboro, N.C., and Donna Landis and Mitzi Tomlinson, both of Amarillo.
