Nora Lee Pearson

Nora Lee “Peggy” Pearson 90 of Amarillo died Sunday October 27, 2002. Graveside services will be at 2:00 PM Wednesday at Englewood Cemetery in Slaton with Rev. Bill Jernigan pastor of Southland Baptist Church in Southland officiating. Arrangements are by Rector Funeral Home 2800 S. Osage St. Mrs. Pearson was born in Jacksboro, Texas. She moved to Slaton in 1940 from Mountainair, NM. She moved to Amarillo in 1971. She was a homemaker and a member of the First United Methodist Church in Slaton. She married Jack Paul Pearson in 1932 at Tucumcari, NM. He died in 1970. She was also preceded in death by 2 sons; Guy Paul Pearson and Phillip Eugene Pearson. Survivors include: 1 son; Jack Pearson of Amarillo, 1 brother; William ONeal of Amarillo, 4 grandchildren; Shera Ann Smith, Roson Lee Wilson, William Guy Pearson and Mary Dawn Larson all of Amarillo, 7 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren. The family requests memorial donations be to Baptist St. Anthonys Hospice and Life Enrichment Center.
