Norma Gaylene Threadgill

Norma Gaylene Threadgill, 75, of Amarillo passed away Wednesday, April 12, 2023. No services are scheduled. Arrangements are by Rector Funeral Home Osage Chapel, 2800 S. Osage. Norma was born on December 29, 1947, to Norma and Wallace Threadgill. She was a devout Christian with strong faith. She had a tenacious personality and a big heart. She enjoyed sewing, cooking, and planting. She also enjoyed collecting antiques and vintage items. She loved her three cats with all her heart. They meant the world to her. Norma was preceded in death by her parents, former stepfather, Jack Harvie, Former stepfather, Don Borougs, and one son, Richard Allen Mayor. Those left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Laura Hawkins, and her husband Larry, one son Cameron Orr and his wife Linette, four grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, and two sisters; Lavera Jean Beasley and Donna Bea Johnson.
