Norman G. Parsons

Norman G. Parsons, 79, of Amarillo died Thursday March 10, 2005 in Amarillo, Texas. Funeral Services will 10:00 AM Monday March 14, 2005 at Rector Funeral Home Osage Chapel will Dr. Dana Moore of Pleasant Valley Baptist Church officiating. Burial will be at Memorial Park Cemetery Amarillo, Texas. Arrangements are by Rector Funeral Home Osage Chapel; 2800 South Osage Amarillo, TX 79103. Mr. Parsons married Marijess Boyle October 9, 1949 at Waynoka, Oklahoma; he also served in the United States Air Force. He worked for Santa Fe Railroads for 39 years, and devoted much of his time to his grandchildren. He was preceded in death by 2 sons Norman Gene, and Dennis Mac Parsons. Survivors include, his wife of the home, 2 sons Mark Parsons and wife Bobbie, and Jeff Parsons and wife Kathy, both of Amarillo; 2 brothers Marvin Parsons of Woodward, OK, and AW Jack Parsons of Amarillo; and 6 grandchildren, Joey Parsons, Michael Parsons, Kristin Parsons, Jake Parsons, Melissa Parsons, and Kourtney Parsons all of Amarillo.
