Nowanna (McCoun) Old of Fort Worth , TX . died Wednesday, Jan. 20, 2010 in Amarillo. Services will be at 3:30 p.m. Monday in the Chapel at Greenwood Funeral Home, 3100 Whitesettlement Rd. , Fort Worth TX . Local Arrangements are by Rector Funeral Home Osage Chapel 2800 S. Osage St. Amarillo, Texas. Nowanna was born May 8 1927, in Agra Okla. to Tony and Daisy (Dean) Satchell. She married Donald ""Shorty"" Old on March 26, 1967, in Amarillo TX . They Moved to Fort Worth June 1970. She was a Life Member of the American Legion, Post 626 and a member of the VFW, Post 8235. She was a hard worker who lived for her family. Nowanna will be dearly missed.. She was survived by her husband Shorty, two sons Jim McCoun and his wife Kathy of Baton Rouge , LA. and Bill McCoun and his wife Floye McCoun of Amarillo , TX . Nowanna had five grandchildren and seven Great-grandchildren.
