Oda Lee Ratheal Jr.

Oda Lee Ratheal, Jr. 51 of Amarillo died Saturday Aug. 17, 2002 at his home. Services will be at 10:00 am Wednesday at Rector Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Leon Green pastor of Bolton Street Baptist Church officiating. Interment will be at Llano Cemetery. Military Rites will be by the Disabled American Veterans Chapter #26. Arrangements are by Rector Funeral Home 2800 S. Osage St. Amarillo, Texas. Mr. Ratheal was born in Poplarville, MS. He attended Caprock High School and served in the Marine Corps during the Vietnam War with the Force Recon Special Forces. He was a loving son and father to Dustin and Sarah Ratheal. Survivors include: his parents; O.L. and Frances Ratheal of Amarillo, 1 daughter; Sarah Elizabeth Ratheal of Amarillo 1 son; Dustin James Ratheal of Amarillo 2 sisters; Mary Beth Thompson of La Junta, CO and Debra Sue Gaines of Amarillo and 1 brother; David Lynn Ratheal of Amarillo. Memorial donations may be made to Bolton Street Baptist Church Building Fund.
