Orlando L. Lopez

Orlando L. Lopez, 53, of Amarillo, died Monday October 21, 2002 Mass will be celebrated at 1:00 PM Thursday at St. Laurence Cathedral. Rosary will be held on Wednesday at 6:00 PM at St. Laurence Cathedral. Arrangements are by Rector Funeral Home 2800 S. Osage St. Mr. Lopez was born in Gonzalez Ranch, New Mexico. He married Mary Lou Aragon in 1974. He moved to Amarillo from Clovis in 1974. He worked for BSA Hospital as a floor tech for 14 years. He was preceded in death by a sister, Mary Ann Lopez and a brother, Arthur Lopez. Survivors include: his wife of the home; 1 daughter, Carmela Smith and husband, V.C. Smith of Amarillo; his mother, Ramona Lopez of Clovis, NM; 1 granddaughter, Isabella Smith of Amarillo; 1 grandson, Isaiah Smith of Amarillo; 2 sisters, Rosie Porter of Amarillo, and Betty Jean Castillo of Clovis; 9 brothers, Gilbert Lopez of Clovis, Perfelio Lopez and Richard Lopez of Amarillo, Lorenzo Lopez, Jr. of Victoria, TX, Toby Lopez, Elias Lopez, Magin Lopez, Johnny Lopez, Serafino Lopez all of Clovis. Memorial Donations may be made to St. Laurence Cathedral, 1800 N. Spring, Amarillo, TX 79107.
