Patricia Ann Huckaby

Patricia Ann Huckaby 67, of Amarillo, died Sunday January 6, 2013 in Amarillo. Services will be at 2:00 PM Wednesday at Rector Funeral Home Osage Chapel with Rev. Robert Field, retired Baptist minister, officiating. Burial will be at Memory Gardens Cemetery. Arrangements are by Rector Funeral Home Osage Chapel 2800 S. Osage St. Mrs. Huckaby was born on May 5, 1945 in Foreman, Arkansas to Louis and Edith Adkins. She lived in Amarillo most of her life. She graduated from Palo Duro High School in 1964 Mrs. Huckaby was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and aunt. She was dearly loved by her family and all those who knew her. She married Billie Huckaby in 1977. She was preceded in death by her husband in 2000, and a sister, Carole Russell in 2008. She was a member of Forest Hill United Methodist Church. She is survived by 2 daughters, Anna Silgero and her husband Stephen and Kim Becker all of Amarillo; 3 sisters, Jonnie Noel and Cindy Backus and her husband John all of Amarillo and Marceia Wheeler of Modesto, CA; 7 grandchildren, Joseph, Kara, Ryan, Briana, Ashley, Cody and Bradley; 4 great-grandchildren, Maggie, Chloe, Abby and Aaron and many nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 5:30 PM - 7:30 PM Tuesday at the Funeral Home and request memorial donations be to a favorite charity.
