Paul William Cook

Paul William Cook 68, of Amarillo died Wednesday, November 12, 2014 in Amarillo. Memorial services will be at 11:00 AM Saturday at Rector Funeral Home Osage Chapel with Spence Moore officiating. Arrangements are by Rector Funeral Home Osage Chapel. Paul was born on March 21, 1946 in Detroit, Michigan to Luther and Mary Louise Cook. He moved to Amarillo in 1985. He worked for Rail Crew Express and Amarillo Livestock Auction. Paul was a unique character with his own sense of humor. He enjoyed his motorcycle, horses, goats, his dog and his family and friends He was especially fond of his grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, his step-father, William Gossett, 2 sisters, Darlyne and Shelia Cook, one brother, Larry Gossett and a grandson Hunter Truitt. He is survived by 1 sister, Deborah Gossett of Amarillo, 2 brothers, Michael Gossett and his wife Sheri of El Paso and Jeff Gossett and his wife Carolyne of Amarillo, 2 daughters, Renee Truitt of Bartlesville, OK and Laquitha Quintero of Amarillo and 9 grandchildren.
