Paul Michael Devenney

Paul Michael Devenney, 76, of Amarillo died Tuesday, January 18, 2022. Funeral Service is 12:00 pm Saturday, January 22 at Rector Funeral Home Osage Chapel officiated by Deacon Andy Gonzales. Arrangements and Cremation are by Rector Funeral Home Osage Chapel, 2800 S. Osage. Paul was born in Paris Tx. on January 26, 1945, to Joseph and Estelle Devenney. He was a devout catholic with so much love for the lord. He met the love of his life, Lynda on March 18, 1966, while he was playing guitar. They married 3 months later on July 15, 1966. Paul loved his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. He enjoyed building model airplanes and working on anything complex. He was a Master Mechanic and was very intelligent. Paul spent a lot of time volunteering for English Field Aviation and Museum and was a member of the Peace Core. Paul was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife, Lynda, his two daughters; Angela Perry and Mary Joe Devenney, two sons; Mike and Joseph Paul Devenney, 14 grandchildren, and 10 great-grandchildren.
