Paula Sue Jones

Paula Sue Jones 64, of Amarillo died Sunday, September 27, 2015 in Amarillo surrounded by her loving family. Memorial Service will be held Saturday at 2:00 pm at the Family Resident 3812 Willow St. Amarillo, Texas 79118. Paula was born on April 14, 1951 in Huntsville to Jeff and Iva Maples. She was an employee of Texas Department of Criminal Justice for 25 years and has been retired for 5 years. Paula was a great wife to Earl for 37 years. Paula was a very loving wife, mother,and grandmother. Her family and friends knew her as a strong willed, and out spoken women. She loved every minute with her family. Paula would want her family and friends to remember all the good times you spent with her, and to celebrate her life. She is survived by her husband, a son; Darrell Griffith and his wife Annie of Crockett, two daughters; Susan Diepenhorst and her husband Chad of Lockney, Pamela Mendez and her husband Henry of Amarillo, a step daughter; Stacie Ortetaga and her husband Lorenzo of Tyler, two brothers; Jessie Stephens of Crockett, and Jerry Stephens of Navasota, and two sisters; Marilyn Harrisson of Crockett, and Dyanna Smith of Pampa, 10 Grandchildren and 3 Great Grandchildren.
