Pauline Knightstep

Pauline ""Granny Murr"" Knightstep, 85 of Amarillo died Monday, June 2, 2003 at Amarillo. Funeral services will be at 10:00 AM Thursday at Rector Funeral Home Chapel, with Bright Newhouse, minister at Hedley Church of Christ officiating. Interment will be at Llano Cemetery. Arrangements are by Rector Funeral Home 2800 S. Osage St. Ms. Knightstep was born in Hall County. She moved to Amarillo in 1950. She worked as a bookkeeper for over 25 years. She retired from State Chemical in 1983. She was a member of Hedley Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her son, James ""Herb"" Knightstep in May of this year. Survivors include 2 daughters, Jeanine Celey, and Martha Crawford both of Amarillo; 2 sons, John Ray Knightstep of Lake Whitney, Texas, and Ronnie Knightstep of Amarillo; 1 sister, Dortha ""Shorty"" Crawford of Hedley; 13 grandchildren; and 26 great-grandchildren. Memorial Donations may be made to a favorite charity.
