Peter Edward Bundy

Peter (Pete) Edward Bundy passed away August 2, 2009 from illness with cancer. He was born to Ruthalice Smith Bundy and William Paul Bundy May 14, 1952 in Amarillo, Texas. He was the third of five children born to the Bundy,s and lived at 609 N. Grant Street, in Amarillo. He graduated from Palo Duro High School in 1970. He married Tia Christenson Bailey originally from Amarillo and later divorced is survived by two daughters, Angel Steinke of Springfield, Oregon, and Teresa Watson of Roseburg, Oregon, and has three grandchildren. He is survived by his brothers, Robert Bundy of Amarillo, Texas, Michael Bundy of Winchester, Idaho, Tim Bundy of Juneau, Alaska, and his sister, Joanne Bundy Reed of Canyon, Texas. Pete had several close friends throughout his life, Mark Johnston and Steve Johnston of Lubbock, Texas, Dale Johnston and Greg Johnston of Amarillo, Texas. Pete battled polio since childhood and was instrumental in working to have social security administration recognize this terrible disability which, in turn, has helped hundreds of other affected individuals. His life long passion was music, technology and electronics. He was recognized as a high level 'gamer' by his cyber friends. Their will be a pot-luck dinner and celebration of his life for all family and friends at 6:00 PM, Friday, August 7, 2009 at his brother Robert's home located at 4438 Summit Circle, in Amarillo, Texas.
