Phillip Lee Johnson 56, of Amarillo died Sunday, January 17, 2016 in Amarillo. Services will be at 2:00 PM Thursday at Christian Heritage Church, 900 S. Nelson. Interment will be at Llano Cemetery. Arrangements are by Rector Funeral Home Osage Chapel, 2800 S. Osage St. Phillip was born April 29, 1959 in Amarillo to Warren and Ora Lee Johnson. He worked for Robinson Construction as a heavy equipment operator and loader. Phillip was a member of Grace Church. He enjoyed being outdoors and spending time with his family fishing and camping. He also loved riding his Harley. He met the love of his life, Ginger Keeling in 1975. They were married on October 13, 1982 in Amarillo. Phillip is survived by his wife; one son Bradley Johnson and his girlfriend Lacey Harber both of Amarillo; two grandchildren, Drake and Skyla Johnson both of Amarillo; one brother, Johnny Johnson, two sisters, Charlene Bills and Deanie Frith all of Amarillo; his mother in law, Regina Keeling of Amarillo and numerous other family and friends. The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM Wednesday at the funeral home and request memorial donations to the Ryan Palmer Foundation, P.O. Box 32271.
