Piedad ""Patsy"" Rosas 79, of Amarillo died Thursday June 28, 2012 in Amarillo. Rosary will be said at 2:00 PM Saturday at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 12:00 Noon Monday at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church with Fr. Jose Gomez celebrant, officiating. Interment will be in Llano Cemetery. Arrangements are by Rector Funeral Home Osage Chapel, 2800 S. Osage St. Patsy was born on December 10, 1932 in Colonia, NM to Clodovis and Mela (Romero) Madrid. She married Ray Rosas on July 10, 1949. Shortly after their marriage, they moved to Amarillo. She raised 6 children and was a loving homemaker. Patsy was a long time parish and committee member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents and 4 sisters, Emma Gonzales, Cordy Urenda, Grace Alires and Connie Solano and a brother, Clodovis Madrid, Jr. The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the doctors and staff of BSA Hospice, Michael of Kindred Hospital for their loving care of our beloved mother and the Amarillo Police Department. She is survived by 2 sons, Nacho Rosas and Steven Rosas, both of Amarillo; 4 daughters, Theresa Condrey of Huntsville, AL, Patti Tinajero of Arlington, Lisa Trevino of Amarillo and Mela Lucero of Rockdale; 4 sisters, Faby Saiz, Bessie Solano, Cleo Fajardo and Flora Heredia; 10 grandchildren, Steven Rosas, Jr., Chad Trevino, Jay Rosas, Matthew Rosas, Erin Rosas, Lathicia Lucero, Jacqua Trevino, Jessica Trevino, Emilia Tinajero and Analee Tinajero; 9 great-grandchildren, Malachi, Mariah, Jonathan, Patience, Kiara, Josiah, Jazzleen, Cristiano and Milianii.
