Rachel L. Trammell

Rachel L. Chasteen-Trammell 71, of Borger died Tuesday, June 12, 2012 at her home. Services will be at 11:00 AM Friday at Grace Fellowship Church, 401 Gardner in Borger with Marshall Ford, senior pastor officiating. Graveside services will be at 2:00 PM Friday at Llano East Cemetery with burial rites rendered by the Elks Lodge #1581 of Borger. Mrs. Trammell was born on April 13, 1941 in Amarillo to Thomas and Allie Chasteen. She moved to Borger in 1979. She was a homemaker and loved spending time with her family. She married J.T. Trammell on July 12, 1979 in Amarillo. She was preceded in death by her parents. Mrs. Trammell is survived by her loving husband, J.T. of the home; 2 sons, Rick Trammell and his wife Sherill of Fritch and Thomas Trammell of Borger; a daughter in law, Laurie Abeln of Stinnett; 2 sisters, Leila Phillips and Kathy France, both of Fort Worth; her brother, Sidney Chasteen of Fort Worth; 2 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. Viewing will be from noon - 8:00 PM Wednesday, 8:30 AM - 8:00 PM Thurday at the funeral home and from 9:00 AM - 10:30 AM at Grace Fellowship Church in Borger.
