Ramon Benito Calderon

Ramon Benito Calderon 72, of Amarillo died Sunday, April 1, 2018 in Amarillo. Graveside services will be at 11:00 AM Tuesday, April 3, 2018 at Llano East Cemetery with Lynn Rector officiating. Arrangements are by Rector Funeral Home Osage Chapel, 2800 S. Osage St. Ramon was born on March 21, 1946 in Ojinaga, Chihuahua, Mex. He moved to Amarillo in 2006 from Big Spring. Ramon was a very hard worker. He was compassionate and adored his family, especially his grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers, one sister and his son Enrique "Ricky" Calderon in 2005. He is survived by his son, Esequiel Calderon and his wife Heather of Amarillo; three daughters, Tencha Calderon and Penny Case and her husband Randy all of Amarillo and Carmella Rendon of Oklahoma City; 8 grandchildren, Isaiah, Gabriella, Caleb, Jayda, Dillon, Ryan, Tristan and DeShaun; three brothers, Enrique Calderon and Librado Calderon both of Big Spring and Manuel Calderon of Mexico; and his former wife Sue Calderon.
