Ramon Guzman

Ramon Guzman, 78, of Garland died Wednesday, February 9, 2022. Funeral Service is 10:00 am Monday at Rector Funeral Home Osage Chapel officiated by Isaac Varela with Power Church. Interment is at Llano Cemetery. Arrangments are by Rector Funeral Home Osage Chapel, 2800 S. Osage. The family will receive guests for visitation Sunday 1-7 pm at the funeral home. Ramon was born in Cameron County on February 24, 1944, and moved to Amarillo in 1962 with his wife Eliza. Ramon spent his younger life working as a forklift driver in Amarillo and later moved to Garland to be closer to his daughters. He was preceded in death by his wife Eliza, one son, Raymond, one granddaughter, Justine, his parents, and several brothers and sisters. He is survived by 7 daughters; Margie Lara and her husband Manuel, Cindy Cervantes, Laurie Guzman, Kristina Ibarra, Lee Ann Gorvea and her husband Jose, Carrie Arredondo and her husband Julian, all of Garland, Debbie Hines and her husband Rusty of Euless, two sons; Ramon Guzman Jr. and his wife Victoria, Johnny Guzman and his wife Esmy, 33 grandchildren, 41 great-grandchildren, 3 brothers; Victor, Pat, and Ernest, and two sisters; Julie and Lupe.
