Ramona Marrufo

Ramona Marrufo Ramona Marrufo,92, of Amarillo passed away September 5, 2023 at her home. She was a loving wife and mother. Ramona was married to Octavio Marrufo who preceded her in death as well as a daughter, Betty Marrufo and son, Arturo Marrufo. Mami was hard working, devoted and spiritual. She enjoyed gardening coloring, embroidering, crochet and Suduko. Mami loved going camping at the lake. She made sure all her children learned about God. "God comes first, the rest falls into place." Ramona is survived by two daughters, Angelica Valencia and Rosario Marrufo; three sons, Luis, Jaime and Oscar Marrufo; 16 grandchildren, and too many great and great-great grandchildren to mention. A Rosary will be said Thursday, September 7, 2023 at 5pm. Funeral Mass will be said Friday, September 8, 2023 at 10am in Our Lady of Guadalupe with Father Jose Gomez officiating.
