Ramona Samaniego

Ramona Samaniego 57, of Amarillo died Thursday, May 17, 2012 in Amarillo. Memorial services will be at 1:00 PM Monday at Rector Funeral Home Osage Chapel with Rev. Grace Ortega, of Templo Ebenezer Assembly of God officiating. Private family entombment will be at Llano Cemetery. Arrangements are by Rector Funeral Home Osage Chapel, 2800 S. Osage St. Miss Samaniego was born in Juarez, Mexico. She moved to Amarillo 13 years ago from El Paso. She loved baking for her family and spending quality time with them. She was especially fond of her grandchildren. She was a member of Templo Ebenezer Assembly of God. She is survived by 2 daughters, Ana Soria and Sandra Soria, both of Amarillo; a sister, Sylvia Samaniego of Amarillo; 3 brothers, Victor Samaniego and Mario Urbieta both of Amarillo and Sergio Urbieta of El Paso; her mother, Maria Urbieta of Amarillo and 4 grandchildren. The family requests memorial donations to Texas Oncology.
