Ranulfo Rubio-Montenegro Jr

Ranulfo Rubio-Montenegro Jr, 65, of Amarillo passed away on December 17, 2022. The family will receive guests at Rector Funeral Home, 2800 S. Osage on Wednesday, December 21, 2022 from 3pm to 6pm. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home's Osage Chapel at 10am with Pastor Jose Moncaylo presiding. Burial will follow in Llano Cemetery. Ranulfo Montenegro was born on December 11 1957 in Juarez, Mexico. He was one of the middle children of 12 siblings. At a young age he began small work from selling gum to shining shoes to help with his growing family. As he grew into a young man he continued to be hard working to provide for his family and loved ones. He was well respected in his neighborhood and soon married the love of his life Rosa Maria who happened to live across the street from his mother's home in Juarez. They both eventually moved to Amarillo, Tx and he began to work construction which he ultimately retired from. He was a loving father and great husband that loved his extended family very much but his greatest pleasure in his life where his granchildren. His life was fulfilling because of all the people that know and love him, please continue to carry on his kindness and generosity that he bestowed on us all.
