Raven Renee Mathis

Raven Renee Mathis 17, of Amarillo died Thursday in Sayre, OK. Services will be at 11:00 AM Tuesday at Greater Mount Olive Baptist Church with Rev. Vurn C. Martin, pastor officiating. Burial will be at Llano Cemetery. Arrangements are by Rector Funeral Home Osage Chapel, 2800 S. Osage St. Raven was born on April, 25, 1995 in Amarillo. She has just finished her Junior year at Randall High School and was looking forward to her Senior year. She was active in track and field events at Randall High School. Raven was a loving daughter and granddaughter. She enjoyed spending time with her friends and family. She was a Christian and a member of Mount Olive Baptist Church. Raven is survived by her father and Step-mother, Harold J. Mathis and Eva Rodriguez of Amarillo; her mother and Step-father Melissa and Jimmy Brown of Amarillo; her sister, Jasmine Mathis of Amarillo; her grandparents, Theola ""Granny"" Mathis and Maria Harvey both of Amarillo, 3 Aunts, Pauline, Gala and Caroll Mathis all of Amarillo and her boyfriend, Demarquis Crain of Amarillo.
