Raymond Matthew Gallegos, 26, died Sunday march 1st, 2020. Service will be 2 pm Monday march 9th at Rector Funeral Home Osage Chapel officiated by Alex Knott. The family will have a private burial. Arrangements are by Rector Funeral Home Osage Chapel, 2800 S. Osage. The family will receive guest for visitation Sunday march 8 from 12:30-7 pm at Rector Funeral Home. Matt was born April 12, 1993 to Jacqueline and Raymond Gallegos in Amarillo. he spent his life in Amarillo creating art and displaying his talents on "The Wall" on 16th street. His talents werent limited to painting, he enjoyed sketching and designing tattoos. Matt discovered his passion for music at the age of four. He started on the electronic key board, eventually expanding to the guitar and drums. His talents didnt just stop at playing instruments, He opened his own studio, helping record music. Matt was a loving father that cherished every moment with his beautiful daughter. He adored Rosie with every bone in his body. She was his world. Matt would include her in his passion in painting and they shared a love for music together. It didnt matter if it was painting, music or picking flowers, Matt just valued every moment with her. He was very charismatic, he never met a stranger. Matt was very kind hearted and would do anything for those he cared for. Matt is preceded in death by his Grandpa, Paul prez, his uncle, Michael Gallegos. He is survived by his daughter Rosalie "Rosie" Blankenburg Gallegos, his parents, his sister, Tabitha Cervi and her husband Ashton, his grandma, Linda Priz, his grandparents, Mike and Rosanne Gallegos, his nephew Sailor lee Cervi, and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
