Rayna Nicole Guzman

Recitation of the Holy Rosary will be at 6:00 pm Wednesday, December 22 in the Rector Funeral Home Osage Chapel. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 2:00 pm Thursday, December 23 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church with Father Jose Gomez and Father Arturo Meza as co-celebrants. Interment will be at Llano Cemetery. Arrangements are by Rector Funeral Home 2800 S. Osage St. Rayna Nicole Guzman came into this world on June 17, 1994, and received her angel wings on December 17, 2010. Rayna was a junior at Caprock High School where she was a great student with a deep passion for soccer. She will be remembered as a beloved granddaughter, daughter, sister, friend, and aunty who loved her nephew and niece as if they were her own children. Rayna was a very caring person with a great personality, and lit up every room she went into with her smile. Our hearts ache, but we know that she is now safe in the arms of Jesus. Survivors left to cherish her memories are her parents, Gerardo and Melissa Guzman; grandparents, Cordelia Urenda and Socorro, and Jose Angel Guzman; her sisters, Melissa Bernal and Zoey Baca; brothers, Ryan Bernal, Gabriel Guzman, Misael Guzman, and Gerardo Guzman; a nephew, Ismael Medellin; a niece, Jada Nguyen, and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. The family would like to convey an appreciation to Richard Perez who has been a special part of Rayna's life. The family requests that memorials be made to the Rayna Guzman Fund in care of Texas Plains Federal Credit Union, 804 S. Madison, Amarillo, TX 79101.
