Raynaldo Herrera Jr., 41, of Amarillo died Friday, May 28, 2021. The memorial service will be at 11:00 am Friday, June 4 at Rector Funeral Home Osage Chapel. Arrangements are by Rector Funeral Home Osage Chapel, 2800 S. Osage. The family will receive guests Wednesday and Thursday 6- 8 pm at the funeral home. Raynaldo was born in Tahoka on August 21, 1979, to Silvia and Raynaldo Herrera Sr. he was outspoken and strong-willed, he was open-hearted and very caring, and always willing to help. Ray was very family-oriented and very involved in his nieces' and nephews lives. He made sure to touch the lives of those around him. Reynaldo was preceded in death by his father, and one brother, Joshua Gonzales. He is survived by his mother Silvia Herrera and her husband Benjamin Gonzales, His grandmother, Elvira Garza, his wife, Alex Thompson-Herrera, his two sisters; Naomi Salis and her fianc Carlos Enriquez, and Anna Herrera, one brother, Benjamin Gonzales Jr, a host of nieces and nephews, his aunt, Norma Lopez, and Uncle Richard Herrera.
