Rebecca Escontrias

A celebration of her life will be at 11:00 am Friday, February 25 in the Rector Funeral Home Osage Chapel with Troy Miles, pastor of First Pentecostal Church of God in Bonham, officiating. Interment will be in Llano Cemetery East. Arrangements are by Rector Funeral Home 2800 S. Osage St. Becky was born on August 7, 1954 to Steve and Juanita Leal, and departed this life to be with the Lord on February 21, 2011. She led an exemplary Christian life with a faith that was endless. Her legacy remains in the hearts of all that knew her. She will be deeply missed, but not forgotten. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Calletano Escontrias on March 1, 2005; her parents; and a brother, Gilbert. Survivors include 2 sisters, Kathy Limer and husband Jesse of Bonham, and Liz Cronic and husband Jim of Dumas; 3 brothers, Cassie Leal and wife Martha of Dumas, Joe of Tennessee Colony, and Pete Sanchez and wife Anita of Colorado; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
