Rickey Dean Glover

A memorial celebration of his life will be at 10:00 am Tuesday, May 25 in the Rector Funeral Home Osage Chapel with Lisa Watson, family friend, officiating. Arrangements are by Rector Funeral Home 2800 South Osage St. Rickey was born on June 26, 1960 in Dumas, TX. He entered into the U.S. Navy at the age of 17, and received his diploma from Honolulu High School. He met and married the love of his life, Karen Bridges, and they resided in Fritch and Amarillo for a number of years. He worked for Conoco Phillips Refinery for 27 years, and was a volunteer firefighter and paramedic in Fritch. Rickey enjoyed traveling, and experienced many wonderful vacations with his family. He also liked camping, and attending concerts as well. He had a great love for his family, and especially delighted in the time spent with his grandchildren. He will missed dearly by his family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jack and Wanda Glover; and a sister, Jeannette Coleman. Survivors include his wife, Karen; 3 daughters, Christina, Krystel Stevens and husband Nate, and Katie Fennell and husband Rich; 2 sons, Cory Glover, and Jason Casey and wife Jennifer; 3 brothers, Jack Glover and wife Rhonda, Bill Glover and wife My Thi, Rocky Glover and wife Barbara; a sister, Sheila and husband Doug; 7 grandchildren, Emily, Kolton, Kaden, Riley, Khloe, Isaiah, and a grandchild due in October; 3 cats, Peggy Sue, Sylvester, and Zipper; an aunt, Lavern Stewart; and numerous other relatives and friends.
