Rickie Newell Hudson

Rickie Newell Hudson, 64, of Amarillo died Thursday, June 9, 2022, in the comfort of his home. No services are scheduled at this time. Arrangements and cremation are by Rector Funeral Home Osage Chapel, 2800 S. Osage. Rickie was born in Amarillo on September 2, 1957, to Bobby and Venita Hudson. Rickie was always willing to help and had a big heart. He was selfless and put others before himself. Rickie married the love of his life, Sharon, on March 11, 1994. She preceded him in death in 2019. Rickie was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Sharon Hudson, and one brother, Ronald Hudson. He is survived by his step-daughter, Michelle Chalmers and her husband Colin, one granddaughter, Kate Ardry and her husband Daniel, one grandson, Landry Fletcher, Sister-in-law, Penny (Hudson) Perdue and her husband Tommy, Sister-in-law, Charlotte and her husband Larren, one nephew, Toby Hudson and his wife Jennifer, great-nephew, Clayton Hudson, dear friend, Ferris Luke, caregiver, Glades Rodrigues and family, and a host of Cousins and friends.
