Ricky Joe Dodson

Ricky Joe Dodson 52, formerly of Amarillo died Saturday October 24, 2009 in Dallas. Memorial services will be at 11:00 AM Friday at Lighthouse Baptist Church with Danny Lucas, pastor officiating. Arrangements are by Rector Funeral Home Osage Chapel 2800 S. Osage St. Ricky was born in Borger. He moved to Amarillo in 1995 From Dumas. He attended Dumas High School before entering the Marines. He worked as a welder and trailer mechanic. He moved to Dallas in 2003. He was baptized at Bible Baptist Church in Dumas. He is survived by 1 daughter, Rebekah Warden of Grangeville, ID; his parents, Louis and Betty Dodson and Flo South all of Amarillo; 2 sisters, Theresa ""Terri"" Bryant of San Antonio and Carla Kay Dodson of Amarillo; 2 brothers, Don Swinney and Danny South both of Amarillo and 2 grandchildren.
