Ricky Don Sander

Ricky Don Sander, 62, of Happy, died Tuesday, November 10, 2020. Graveside Services will be 1:00 pm Friday, November 13, 2020, at Happy Cemetery officiated by Lynn Rector. Arrangements are by Rector Funeral Home Osage Chapel, 2800 S. Osage. Ricky was born on July 20, 1958, in Woodward to Leila and Dwight Sander. He was a man with a good sense of humor, always joking around and pulling pranks. He enjoyed making people laugh and smile. He was good at teaching his children life lessons and the fundamentals of life. The family was everything to Ricky. He valued and cherished every moment with his children and grandchildren. Ricky met the love of his life, Kristi, through his brothers friend and they just hit it off. They married in 1977. Ricky was proud of serving the railroad for 43 years. He was very mechanically inclined and good at operating heavy machinery. He could nearly fix anything. Ricky was a jack of all trades. He loved fishing and was also good in the garden. He loved growing his vegetables. Ricky was just good at life. Ricky was preceded in death by his father, and his two sisters; Deanna Shirly and Cathy Hendrix. He is survived by his mother, His wife, his two daughters; Amber Graham and her husband Jay, and Angeleque Higgs and her husband Chester, his son, Damon Sander, one sister, Sharon Smith, and five grandchildren; Isaac, David, Baiyleigh, Jamison, and Maddalinn.
