Robert Bland Ballard

Robert Bland Ballard, 75, of Amarillo died Tuesday December 26, 2006 in Amarillo. Funeral Service will be at 10:00 AM Friday December 29, 2006 in Rector Funeral Home Osage Chapel, with Dale Westbrook, Pastor of New Fellowship Baptist Church officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery in Vega. Arrangements are by Rector Funeral Home, Osage Chapel. Mr. Ballard was a member of New Fellowship Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his wife Frances Lorene Ballard and a son Chris Bland Ballard. He is survived by 2 daughters, Barbara Cooper of Leesburg, TX, and Judy Blackburn of Elkin, NC, 1 son Steve H. Cantrell of Amarillo; 2 sisters Dorothy Jackson of Amarillo, and Patsy Soliday of Rochester, NY; 4 grandchildren, and 8 great grandchildren.
