Robert "Bob" Craig Luginbill

Robert “Bob” Craig Luginbill, 77, of Amarillo, died on Sunday, September 14, 2025.

Memorial services will be held at a later date. Arrangements are by Rector Funeral Home, 2800 S. Osage.

Bob was born on January 1, 24, 1948 in Barstow, California to B.F. Luginbill Jr. and Marjorie Luginbill. He graduated from Tascosa High School in 1966. He had worked BNSF railroad for over 35 years until retirement. He loved to scuba dive and dived all over the world. He also enjoyed fishing, shooting guns, and reloading.

He married Ollie Owensby on October 2, 1971, at First Christian Church in Amarillo.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Bill Luginbill

He is survived by his wife, Ollie Luginbill; two brothers, Ron Luginbill and wife Barbara of Snohomish, Washington and Jim Luginbill and wife Cindy of Amarillo; and a sister-in-law, Lucy Luginbill of Coeur d’Alene, Idaho.
