Robert Candelaria

Robert Candelaria,61, of Amarillo passed away on Wednesday August 5, 2015 in Amarillo Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 pm Friday in Rector Funeral Home Osage Chapel. Burial will be in Llano Cemetery. Rosary will be said from 6:00pm to 7:00pm Thursday in the Funeral Home. Arrangements are by Rector Funeral Home Osage Chapel Robert was born on September 4, 1953 in Amarillo to Randolfo and Agueda Agnes Candelaria, he graduated from Caprock High school in 1971. He was a bricklayer by trade. In his younger years he shined shoes in downtown Amarillo with his buddies and made his own shoe shine box. Robert enjoyed playing dominos and poker. He was always there when anyone needed help. Robert was always laughing and smiling. He was a jokester and enjoyed making others happy. Robert loved to dance, and enjoyed sitting on the front porch and listening to the oldies. He will be dearly missed.. He was preceded in death by his father, and two brothers Andy and Felipe Candelaria Survivors include: his mother; three sisters, Susie and husband Oracio Vela of Bishop, Patsy Cuellar and husband Rudy, and Margaret Candelaria, both of Amarillo; three brothers; Joe Candelaria, Don Candelaria and wife Susie, and Patricio Candelaria all of Amarillo; and many nieces and nephews.
