Robert William Glenn, 72 of Amarillo died Sunday, June 1, 2003 at Amarillo. Memorial services will be at 10:00 AM Wednesday at Rector Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Robert Field, retired Baptist minister officiating. Cremation and arrangements are by Rector Funeral Home 2800 S. Osage St. Mr. Glenn was born on September 5, 1930 in Itasca to George and Kitty Glenn. He was a retired U.S. Army veteran, having served in the Korean War. He was stationed in Germany for 3 years. Mr. Glenn loved to make people laugh and will be dearly missed. He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Kitty Glenn, 2 brothers, Tommy Glenn of Dallas and Roy Glenn of Lubbock, 2 sisters, Nancy Isham of Lubbock, and Inez Walker of Lubbock. Survivors include 2 daughters, Robin Hamner and husband Randy, and Susan Glenn All of Amarillo; 3 sons, Larry Glenn and wife Debbie, Robert Glenn, Jr. and wife Kerry all of Amarillo, and Jeff Glenn of Lubbock; 5 sisters, May Wells of Idalou, Juanita Williamson of Texarkana, Vera Womack of Lubbock, Kitty Roby of New Orleans, and Shirley Jones of Shallowwater; 1 brother, George Glenn of Tahota; 8 grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. The family will be at 5321 Capulin Lane.
