Robert Malena

Robert Malena 57, of Amarillo died Thursday, December 2, 2016 in Amarillo. Memorial services will be at 2:00 PM Tuesday at Tascosa Road Fellowship, 200 Tascosa Road, with Victor Young, pastor officiating. Cremation was by Rector Funeral Home Osage Chapel, 2800 S. Osage St. Robert was born in Amarillo. He worked as a painting contractor. He was an excellent mechanic and could repair anything that was broken. He enjoyed listening to music. Robert was a very caring man. He enjoyed helping other less fortunate than himself. He is survived by one daughter, Cody Edwards and her husband Dwayne of Amarillo; two sons, Stoney J. Malena and Toby Lee Malena both of Amarillo; his mother Marilyn Malena of Amarillo; four brothers, Floyd Malena, Rick Malena, Ray Malena and David Malena all of Amarillo; one sister Sue Moody of Amarillo; four granddaughters and many nieces, nephews and other extended family members. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations to BSA Hospice of the Southwest, 6600 Killgore, Amarillo, Texas 79106.
