Robert Wade Scott

Robert Wade Scott, 55, of Amarillo went to be with our Heavenly Father on October 3, 2018. Services will be at 10 am Saturday at Rector Funeral Home Osage Chapel with Carlos Rodriguez, nephew officiating. Graveside services will be at 2 pm Saturday at Mobeetie Cemetery in Mobeetie. Arrangements are by Rector Funeral Home, 2800 S. Osage St Robert was born in Amarillo to William "Bill" Scott and Annie Mearlene Hooker-Scott on Nov. 28, 1962. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He was passionate about his relationship with Jesus and willing to help anyone in any way that he could. Robert was employed by Auto-Chlor Golden Light of Amarillo for over 20 years. He married the love of his life, Suzette Scott on May 13, 2006. He was an amazing father to three daughters, Danielle Jones, Cheyanne Jones, Brittany Jones and Haley Rojas, all from Amarillo. Robert has three grandchildren who adored him, Alex, Austin, and Lily. He is the brother of Ginger Fritas, Brenda Long both from Amarillo and Lisa and her husband Mark Letcho of Kileen, TX. A brother, Russell Scott of Amarillo. Robert also has numerous nieces and nephews and multiple great nieces and nephews. He also had a generous amount of friends and business associates. He is preceded in death by his mother Annie Mearlene Hooker-Scott. The family will receive friends from 5:30-7 pm Friday at the funeral home.
