Robert Woods

Robert ""Bob"" Woods, 76, of Amarillo died Friday July 28, 2006 in Amarillo. Graveside Service will be at 10:00 AM Monday July 31, 2006 in Llano Cemetery with John H. Elser, Chaplain of Thomas E. Creek Veterans Affairs officiating. Arrangements are by Rector Funeral Home, Osage Chapel, 2800 South Osage. Mr. Woods enjoyed the outdoors, camping fishing, and boating. He owned a motor home and traveled the entire Southern United States. He was preceeded in death by his wife Arlene G. Woods, one son David Dusky Woods, 1 brother Jack E. Woods, and 1 sister Bernice Taylor. Survivors include: 1 daughter Penney Woods Huff of Amarillo; 2 brothers Roy G. Woods of Fritch, and Horace F. Woods of Sulphur, OK; 3 sisters Marie Moose of Amarillo, June Ogle of Richardson, and Joann Stone of Fort Worth; 6 grandchildren, and 6 great grandchildren. Visitation will be from 12:30 PM- 7:00 PM Sunday July 30, 2006.
