Ron Plumlee

Ron Plumlee, 58, of Amarillo, died Monday, May 7, 2007 in Amarillo. A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday , May 9, 2007 at 2:00 PM in Rector Funeral Home, Osage Chapel, with Randy McGuire, officiating.. Arrangements are by Rector Funeral Home, Osage Chapel, 2800 South Osage St., Amarillo TX. Ron had previously worked for Gene Messer Ford in Amarillo. He returned to Amarillo in 2005 after living in Springdale Arkansas a few years. He was a huge Chicago Cubs fan and loved playing golf. He never missed an OU football game and enjoyed watching all college football. He enjoyed working in the flower garden and loved to cook-out with his family and friends. He was preceded in death by a daughter Renee Dugas in April 2006. He is survived by his wife Becky Plumlee of the home; a son, Chris Plumlee and his wife Jill of Amarillo; two step-daughters, Jennifer Wheeler and Jessica Wheeler both of Amarillo; two sisters, Sharon Anglin and her husband Roger; and Linda Plumlee all of Springdale, Arkansas; a brother, Phillip Plumlee and his wife Bambi of Douglasville, Georgia; and two grandchildren; Taylor and Ashley Dugas of Lafayette, Louisiana.
