Ronald Shane Colliflower

Ronald "Shane" Colliflower 53, of Amarillo died Wednesday, Aug. 18, 2021 in Amarillo. Services will be at 10am Saturday, Aug. 21, 2021 at Rector Funeral Home Osage Chapel with Tommy Fulgham, lead pastor of Generation Next Church officiating. Military Honors will be by Volleys for Veterans. Shane was born on Feb. 23, 1968 in Weatherford to Ronald and Judy (Williams) Colliflower. He moved to Amarillo in Nov. of 2000 from Weatherford. He served in the Army National Guard for 12 years. After moving to Amarillo, Shane worked at Westgate Chevrolet and Bell Helicopter. He was working Hunting Titan Energy Services as a quality control manager at the time of his death. During high school, Shane played quarterback at Weatherford High School. He enjoyed collecting clowns, football and baseball cards. He also collected University of Texas memorabilia. He played cornhole and loved fishing and hunting with his Papa when he was younger. Shane married Tanya Brewer on Feb 14, 2014 in Amarillo. Survivors include his wife Tanya; two sons, Cason Colliflower and his wife Ashlee' of Weatherford and Brandon Colliflower and his companion Trinity; five daughters, Krista Myers and her husband Jason, Lyndsey Nelson, Jori Shannon and her husband Cameron and Lauren Putnam and her husband Hayden all of Amarillo and Shayla Pelletier and her husband Jon of Weatherford; his mother Judy Putnel of Weatherford; two sisters, Jerridee Austin of Azle and Kimberley Pollard of Tracy, CA; nine grandchildren. The family suggests memorial donations to the Wounded Warrior Project.
