Ronald Lynn "Ronnie" Hill, 66, of Amarillo went to be with the Lord on Monday March 2, 2015. Funeral Services will be held Thursday at 10:00 am in San Jacinto Assembly of God with Pastor Billy Snider officiating. Interment will be at Llano Cemetery. Arrangements are by Rector Funeral Home Osage Chapel 2800 S. Osage St. Ronnie was born on March 12, 1948 in Amarillo. He was a roller skating champion from age two until middle school earning numerous gold, silver and bronze medals. Ronnie graduated from Amarillo High in 1966. Ronnie was a musician working and touring with various bands such as The Other's, The Pageboys, The Tracers, Euphoria, Last Chance Band, and his favorite sit down gig, the Praise and Worship Band at San Jacinto Assembly of God Church, and many others. He also had a movie career. Ronnie was an Actor in "Leap of Faith," a Production Assistant in "Occhio Pinocchio," and a Transportation Supervisor in "What Matters Most." Ronnie was a faithful member of the Christian Motorcycle Association where he served as Chaplain for a period of time during his ministry. Survivors include: his wife; Connie Lockhart Hill, a daughter; Haley Jo Hill, and a brother; Richard Hill all of Amarillo and numerous dogs and cats.
