Rosalba Olivia Escarcega- Najera

Rosalba Olivia Escarcega-Najera 53, of Amarillo died Saturday, Jan. 16, 2021 in Amarillo Rosary will be recited at 6 pm Wednesday at Rector Funeral Home Osage Chapel with deacon David Duenes officiating. Mass of the Christian Burial will be at 12 pm Thursday at St. Laurence Catholic Church with Father Haider Quintero, celebrant, officiating. Burial will be at Llano East Cemetery. Arrangements are by Rector Funeral Home Osage Chapel, 2800 S. Osage St. Rosalba was born on Dec. 8, 1967 in Durango, Mexico. She moved to Amarillo in 2002 from Washington. Rosalba was a excellent single mother. She raised her 4 children with love and dedication. She was a great example of hard worker and she never gave up. Rosalba loved her family with all of her heart. She was an excellent cook and enjoyed knitting. On Oct. 17, 2005, she married a wonderful man, Lucio Escarcega-Najera in Amarillo. Rosalba was a member of St. Laurence Catholic Church. She is survived by her husband; two daughters, Alma Gutierrez and her husband Antonio of Connell, WA and Yvette Perez and her husband Omar of Amarillo; two sons, Elmer Astorga and his wife Ashley and Brian Astorga all of Walla Walla, WA; three sisters, Guadalupe Arana, Martha Rivera and Candelaria Arana; four brothers, Luis Arana, Jesus Arana, Martin Arana and Alonzo Arana; 13 grandchildren.
