Roxie Ann Garrett

Roxie Ann Garrett 75 of Amarillo died Wednesday, September 26, 2012 in Amarillo. Services will be at 2:00 p.m. Monday at Living Way Fellowship Church with Rick Meyer, pastor officiating. Burial will be at Memorial Park Cemetery. Arrangements by Rector Funeral Home, 2800 S. Osage St. Known as The Peacemaker, Roxy was ever faithful to her family, friends and her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. She served as secretary at Trinity Baptist Church for many years. She later became secretary in the family owned business, Interior Specialists. Roxie loved to travel, especially in the mountains. Mrs. Garrett is survived by her husband, Bill Garrett; two sons, Ross Wayne and wife Karen and Randall Mark and wife, Kathy; two brothers, Donald Wayne Searsy and ""Bobo"" Searsy; three grandchildren, Amy, Chris and Colton Garrett and three great-grandchildren, Haylee, Gracie and Alexis Garrett. The family suggests memorials to the American Heart Association and the American Cancer Society.
