Roy Farris Crawford

Services will be at 2:00 PM Friday at Rector Funeral Home Chapel with Loran Harper, pastor of Comanche Trail Church of Christ officiating. Military Rites will be by the DAV Chapter #26. Interment will be at Llano East Cemetery. Arrangements are by Rector Funeral Home, 2800 S. Osage St., Amarillo, Texas. Mr. Crawford was born in Arkinda, Ark. He attended high school in Amarillo and was an Air Force veteran of WWII and Korea. He retired from the Air Force in 1960 as a Master Sargent after 19 years of service. He worked as a security guard in Las Vegas for several years. Survivors include 2 daughters; Pam Crawford and Cindy Verde both of Las Vegas, 1 son; Roy Lee Crawford of Las Vegas, 1 sister; Velma thomas of Amarillo, 4 grandchildren; Loren Laub, Chris Crawford, Nathan Verde and Felicia Nilson all of Las Vegas, 3 great-grandchildren; Tyler Nilson, Sam Nilson and Zoe Crawford all of Las Vegas and a dear friend; Pat Adams of Las Vegas.
