Ruby Emery

A celebration of her life will be at 10:00 am Friday, August 5 in the Rector Funeral Home Osage Chapel with Pastor William R. Romero, her brother, officiating. Interment will be in Llano Cemetery East by Rector Funeral Home, 2800 S. Osage St. Ruby, one of seven siblings, was born on March 29, 1935 in Bisbee, AZ. She worked as a nurse for several years, and was very gracious to everyone she cared for. She had a loving and compassionate heart, and was devoted to her faith in Jesus Christ. She will be deeply missed. She was preceded in death by her parents, Miles and Libby Cowan; and a daughter, Marcella Craig. Survivors include her children, Irene Center and husband Randy, Cindy Fields and husband John, George Emery, Mary Wenzel and husband David, Joe Emery, and Lisa Clines and husband Bill;10 grandchildren and a host of great grandchildren.
