Russell Arlen Kaspar 43 formerly of Amarillo died Wednesday December 31, 2008 in Caddo Mills. A Celebration of Life service will be at 11:00 AM Wednesday at Trinity Lutheran Church with David Schatte officiating. Private family interment will be at Llano Cemetery. Arrangements are by Rector Funeral Home Osage Chapel 2800 S. Osage St. Amarillo, Texas. Russell Arlen Kaspar left this earth to take up residence in the home that his Heavenly Father prepared for him. What a way to bring in the ""New Year""! Russell saw first hand that ""the valley of the shadow of death"" was truly only a shadow, just as our Savior promised to all those who love Him. Russell stepped out onto the streets of gold to meet his Savior, face to face. Isaiah 60:20 gives us a glimpse of our Heavenly home. It says, ""The sun shall no more go down, nor shall the moon withdraw its self because the Lord shall be your everlasting light, and the days of mourning shall be ended."" What a picture to behold our Christ will be our everlasting Light!Russell is survived by his wife Cheryl, 1 daughter Hannah and 2 sons, Gabriel and Nicholas and his parents Fain and Selma Kaspar. In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial donations to Russel's children in care of Cheryl Kaspar at Amarillo National Bank.
